Sarah Mitchell
🏆 Award Winner 📚 Bestseller

Mohammad Saleem Pandit is a prominent Indian journalist known for his significant contributions to India’s media landscape. He has been associated with “The Times of India,” India’s largest-circulated media group, where he served as Assistant Editor for many years. His reporting primarily centres on Jammu and Kashmir, especially the intricate issues surrounding the Kashmir Valley.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I draw inspiration from the misty landscapes and the resilient spirit of the people who call this region home. My work often explores themes of identity, belonging, and the intricate dance between past and present.

In 2000, he assumed the role of correspondent for The Times of India in Srinagar. His compelling storytelling brought a new level of engagement to the newspaper, particularly regarding the ongoing insurgency in Kashmir. Saleem faced numerous adversities, including attempts by detractors to tarnish his reputation through false narratives, exposing him to significant threats while he pursued his journalistic goals.
